Step 1 on Be Artistic Again ;) #Sketch

I think I am slowly "coming out" my artistic  's block. I didnt draw (or made/did something to do with art) anything since...December! Yeah, it has been a long time.
I feel I am empty of ideas...I dont know- but back these days I decided to sketch something. So, I drew this. Nothing wow or big- sort of execise (i do like to draw faces). A first step.

Oh boy, her nose is awful! *facepalm*

To tell the truth I totally forgot that today was September 19th,  Hermione's birthday- and, so, i didnt draw anything (like I did last year- see my art HERE ) But, I do have two simple sketches of her that I made some time ago and never posted here (that I reckon).

The other one I called Thinking about You. Unfortunally this art was 'banned' from DeviantArt. They thought it was 'inappropriated' .Yeah, it is slightly NWS but still... I didnt- and I still dont- think it is inappropriated.

Yeah, this a grow-up Harry. After all, he is turning 31 today, right?

This is my first post of the year.Actually, this is my very first art of the year. Shocking, huh? Yeah. I am suffering from a terrible case of  'lack of creativity'...I just couldnt draw, paint...do anything 'artistic' ...it's so frustrating, discouraging...

So, today I was at home and it was raining and...well, I thought, why dont I try to draw something? So, I did this little something- it's not good or anything but I am kind proud of myself for 'breaking' (sorta anyways) this 'artist block'. 

And here it is my first draw. It's actually a 'marker sketch'- a very silly wonder woman but it's a start.

I am still not sure abt the result. I think I chose the worng type of paper. It seems to me that the colors didnt blend well. *sighs*

Okay, this was supposed to be uploaded yesterday however I wasnt able to: it's Carnival here and although I am not a very *carnival* person I decided to celebrate the holiday on the beach and the club

And besides that since yesterday my web connection (not the connection per se but the gadget/modem) isnt working too well.

Anyways, so here it just silly rough sketch. Harry and Hermione.

Okay, I dont know if I made any sense but it's better I be quick before the $5#2! internet disconnect once again.

And yeah, I dont think yje proportion is completely right but... Oh well!

Art Every Day Month: Last Day: Miss Bennet Sketch

Day30. The End. The End? I dont think so. This is only the beginning! We let the art enter our in lives-now let’s keep it:)

It wasn’t easy to post the whole month and sometimes I know I could have been better but I think I did well, on my own way. I still have so much to learn, to practice! This post, for example, I’d planned to do something more detailed with a good background, a *better* hair and dress, etc…but in order to post it today I didn’t have time to. It’s frustrating, yes. But it’s also good, in way, because I can see- this way- details I still need to improve, And, oh! I REALLY NEED to improve.

Well, I guess that’s it. However, before I go, I’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to Leah for the idea, the art, the support…you rock, hun! Also lots of ‘thank you’s’ to everyone who commented. Obrigado

Art Everyday Month and the Late Halloween Sketch

Hallo! So here I am. November 1st. First day of the Art Everyday Month. My first time in this…yeah, lots of first times, huh? :P Well, my first entry is actually something I should have posted yesterday. Yeah, if you thought about Halloween you are right:P

It’s a Halloween sketch. Specifically, a Harry Potter Halloween Fanart. You know, some people may consider a fanart, a “minor” art. I couldn’t disagree more. In a certain way, isn’t a book illustration some kind of fanartist? But more important than this, it was the fanart that brought me back to the arts.

This is for Illustration Friday. The theme is *time* what a wonderful prompt. And so appropriate, you know? I could spend hours only talking about it- the meanings of it- but once again I am out of time.
Yesterday I watched Bejamim Button and wow. It’s funny how no matter what we cant escape from this four letter word. Time.
So, I made these two drawings- the first one is finished, the other I wasn’t able to (so I guess it is a drawing a WIP sketch.)
